Surinderkumar Aggarwal was born in Delhi in the year 1944. 

He passed B.E.(Marine) from Marine Engineering college Calcutta in the year 1966.

He joined Shipping Corporation of India, a Govt of India Undertaking, as Junior Engineer in 1966. Was elevated to the rank of Chief Engineer in the year 1991. After serving  Shipping Corporation of India for 9 years, he took up an assignment as Chief Engineer with Arya National Shipping Lines, a govt. of Iran undertaking. Quit Arya National Shipping Lines in the year 1979 to start his own Industry of manufacturing Corrugated boxes in the name of Novel Packaging. It was in partnership with his friend. In the year 1985, present company Care Pack Pvt Ltd was floated by him as Chairman and Managing Director.

Since then more Directors have joined the company and presently he is Managing Director. He has travelled almost all over the World during the course of his job. He has variety of interests specially in the field of social service. Founder member of Deccan Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, formerly known as Nagar Road Industries association. Project coordinator for managing Traffic at Wagholi Junction on behalf of Chamber.

Has been  Chairman of Kalyani Nagar residents Association, coordinating with various Govt Agencies and getting resident’s problems resolved.  It has been a very successful and satisfying experience to bring residents together and speak in the same voice. During his tenure Kalyani Nagar saw the first community base vermicomposting pit, converting wet garbage into manure. The pit was inaugurated at the hands of the then Mayor and Municipal Commissioner of Pune. This was in the year 1995.

He is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Poona Downtown (Pune),  A unique project of renovating toilet blocks and making squatting channels for children, in Laxmi Nagar Vasahat, was a land mark project during his year of President ship. He was invited by Pune Municipal Corporation to make a presentation on the project for the benefit of Maharashtra Govt officials.

His interests include Sports, finding avenues in areas such as Traffic Safety, Genaral upkeep of public utilities by coordinating with Traffic Department and local elected representatives.

He is happily married and has a daughter. She is married and settled down in Pune with her husband and two sons.

Born in Delhi in 1939, passed B.Sc (Hone) in Physics, Post graduate in Mathematics and Industrial Management & M.B.A. from Delhi University.

 

Started career with Bajaj Electricals Ltd in 1959 as Lighting Engineer and later becoming Asst. Branch Manager (total 11 years); worked as Marketing Manager in a Public Sector Enterprise based at Calcutta (8 years) and finally started Manufacturing Units for Lumax Group of Industries at Pune, Chakan and Aurangabad from 1978 onwards and took retirement as Executive Director in 2001.

 

Started own manufacturing SME Unit (Power Electronics) for Invertor Fluorescent fittings and LED Destination Signs for Buses.  Recently introduced LED tube light for interior lighting in buses.
